We would like to get married on April 8, 2010.
My future husband is Ashkenazi from his dad's side.
online I found a website http://www.easywed.co.il that claims we can get married on that date.. as the Groom is considered Ashkenazi.
what do you think ?
We plan to have a civil service, but as a courtesy to our guests I want to know what is permitted and what is not.

The abovementioned date is on "Sefirat Haomer". This time is not customary to take weddings at.
Even If the reffered wedding is a civil one, there might still be problems for your orthodox guests to attend it.
